Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of sidebench.digital and any content published on it. By accessing the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

This page applies to the website itself. Work we deliver for clients is covered by a separate written agreement, not by this document.

Use of the site

What we expect from visitors, and what we may do if the site is misused.

You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to interfere with the site's operation, attempt to access restricted areas, or use automated tools to scrape content at a volume that affects other visitors. We may suspend or restrict access if these terms are violated.

Permitted
Reading pages, sharing links with colleagues, and contacting the team about a project are all fine. So is quoting a short passage with a link back to this site.
Not permitted
Mass downloading, probing for private areas, injecting code, or running scrapers that slow the site for everyone else. Access can be limited when that happens.

Content and intellectual property

Text, graphics, interface code, and the case write-ups published here belong to Sidebench or the partners who licensed them to us.

Content on this site, including text, graphics, and code, is owned by Sidebench or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may view and share links to the content. You may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute it for commercial purposes without written permission.

  • Linking to any public page is welcome, including from newsletters and internal team wikis.
  • Using our screenshots, diagrams, or case write-ups to promote your own services is not.
  • Reposting an article in full, including translated copies, needs written permission first.
  • Client names and marks shown in our portfolio remain the property of those clients.

Permission requests go to [email protected]. Tell us what you want to use, where it will appear, and roughly how long it stays online, and we will reply with what we can and cannot approve.

Project inquiries and submissions

Submitting a project brief through the contact form does not create a client relationship or a contract. Any engagement is governed by a separate written agreement. Information you submit is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

Before you send

A short description of the product, the platforms involved, and the timeline you are working toward helps us route the request to the right team.

What happens next

We read the brief and reply with questions or a suggested first conversation. Nothing is billable and nothing is committed at that stage.

If we move ahead

Scope, deliverables, fees, and ownership of the finished software and design files are set out in a written agreement signed by both sides.

If we do not

There is no obligation on either side, and you are welcome to send a revised brief later when the project is better defined.

Briefs submitted through the contact form are reviewed by the same team that would do the work — software, mobile apps, AI solutions, and UX/UI design.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Disclaimer

The site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Descriptions of services, tools, and approaches on this site are general information. They are not engineering, legal, or financial advice for your specific situation, and they may change as platforms and standards move.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Sidebench is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

This section covers your use of the website. Liability and remedies for delivered client work — code, applications, and design assets — are defined in the signed agreement for that engagement, including any warranty or support period it contains.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page. Continued use of the site after changes indicates acceptance of the revised terms.

The date at the top of the document is not a version log — we keep a single live copy instead of an archive of older drafts, so bookmarking this page is the simplest way to stay current.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from use of the site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

Questions about which agreement applies to a specific engagement, rather than to the website, are best raised with us before work begins.
